Zape\u010da\u0107eni dijelovi ostaju u komori pod helijem na unaprijed odre\u0111eno vrijeme. Vrijeme bombiranja, tlak i vrijeme zadr\u017eavanja izravno utje\u010du na osjetljivost. Neadekvatna kontrola mo\u017ee dovesti do nedosljednih rezultata, stoga najbolja praksa uklju\u010duje standardizaciju tih vrijednosti unutar serija.<\/p><p data-start=\"2925\" data-end=\"3330\">Nakon bombardiranja operateri moraju ukloniti povr\u0161inski helij ispiranjem du\u0161ikom ili kontroliranim su\u0161enjem. Ovaj korak sprje\u010dava da sorbirani helij proizvodi pozadinske signale na detektoru. Nakon \u010di\u0161\u0107enja dijelovi se postavljaju u ku\u0107i\u0161te za ispitivanje radi mjerenja.
